Pure black background doesn't look good. It looks unpleasant, even. Look at DNF. It's technically black, but despite that the place looks bright. It's pleasant to look at. Likewise, dark red text looks bad too. Chnge it. White is a decent but a bright, faint color will do. And despite the black background, the post box is white. It looks weird. Change that too.
And there are way too many sections. Especially in a new forum this is not desired. It looks bad. It looks empty, because it is. Forum Operation is alright. Empty but understandable. Introductions and farewells can actually be contained to a single thread, believe it or not. A thread that'll live pretty long too, if the forum becomes popular. But, again, understandable to have it's own section.
The next ones are atrocious though. Understandably because this is an anime forum, anime should get its own section. Manga and light novels definitely could go under a subsection of the anime forum. Video games, graphics, and all of card games can go under a misc. activities section, with subsections for whatever is needed.
Army I don't know what that is so no comment. An off-topic section should always exist, so it's fine as is. I'm a bit icky on roleplay but that's fine as well. Hobbies, I'm not sure will require its own section. I'm not sure what's covered in this that can't just be put into off-topic or misc. activities.
